However, the spring rains have also been confirmed in areas of the administrations such as Galmudug, Puntland, Southwest, Jubbaland and the Somali region of Ethiopia.

The rains that fell in most of the regions of the country and have warmed the people and the animals are followed by a strong fear of floods and floods that can be caused by the Shabelle and Juba rivers.

The death of the children came after a heavy flood caused by the spring rains in those areas, the dead children include 2 girls and one boy, from the same family.

“The rain swept away the whole family, the children and the sheep, the old man and the woman were missing, it was said that it took away 4 children, so the girl survived and the flood was spared, 2 girls and the son died,” said the government official. belonging to the administration of the Sahel region.

He said that the children who were affected by the flood were nomadic herdsmen who were looking for pasture and water after the rains.

He added that the rain fell in the middle of the night and the children were sleeping when the flood took place, which caused the flood to jump over the women who were nomads who did not have beds or good houses.

The dead children were buried this afternoon in the area affected by the flood, and it is the biggest loss so far caused by the spring rains in Somaliland.
