The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, today received credentials from new ambassadors from eight countries.
The new ambassadors who received their credentials from the President of Somalia today are from Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Venezuela, Korea, Mauritania and Iraq.
President Hassan Sheikh first congratulated the new ambassadors on joining the ranks of diplomats working in Somalia, noting the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and international cooperation between Somalia and these countries.
The President of the Federal Government also urged the new ambassadors to work on developing friendly relations and cooperation in various fields between their countries and the Somali government.
The ambassadors who received the credentials of the President today are: Suleiman Dedefo Woshe, Ambassador of Ethiopia, Robert Ifriyie, Ambassador of Ghana, Maes Ennio, Ambassador of Ivory Coast, Alejadro Eves Estivill Castro, Ambassador of Mexico, Moravia Peralt Hernaldez, Ambassador of Venezuela, Kang Hyundshik, Ambassador of Korea, Hussein Deh, Ambassador of Mauritania, and Kahtan Taha Khalaf, Ambassador of Iraq.
