Puntland forces, based in Kalabayr area of Bari region, last night captured two members of the ISIS terrorist group that was defeated in the operation Calmiskaad.
Officials from the operation confirmed that the two foreign members were captured in the mountains near Kalabayr area, where they had fled, after the Puntland forces completely dismantled the power of the ISIS militia.
The officials said that the two terrorists will be transferred to the general command of the operation Calmiskaad in Bosaso city, for a thorough investigation, and to be brought before the judicial institutions, especially the Puntland Armed Forces Court.
Puntland forces have shown continuous efforts to ensure security and stability in the region, by confronting terrorist groups that pose a threat to society.
