The Speaker of the House of People, Sheikh Aden Madobe, visited the town of Xudur in Bakool region.

The Speaker of the House of the People of the Somali Parliament, Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), arrived today in Xudur, the capital of Bakool region, leading a large delegation of ministers and members of parliament from the Federal Government.

The Speaker’s delegation was warmly welcomed at the airport in Xudur, where they were received by the President of the South West State, Abdiasis Hassan Mohamed (Laftagareen), members of the South West State Cabinet and Parliament, traditional elders, and various sections of the city’s community.

While in Xudur, Speaker Sheikh Aden Madobe is scheduled to hold important meetings with Bakool regional authorities, Xudur district administration, traditional elders, and military officers.

These meetings will focus on the security situation, the development of social services, and strengthening cooperation between the federal government and the South West State administration.

This visit is part of the Federal Government’s efforts to engage with the community and accelerate government services in the regions of the country.
