The news from Aabudwaq city in Galgaduud state that the Ethiopians who fled to the city have started destroying the metals in the city, and they have revealed to the public that the two Amharic and Oromo ethnic groups will transport all the metals to the metal factories in Ethiopia.
Bile, one of the residents of the area, told one of the local media that the Ethiopian Oromos and Amharas have started to remove the symbols made for the cemeteries in the city, which is a violation of the Islamic Sharia and Somali culture.
Bile mentioned that metal and other scraps are taken out of the cemetery within the city and they are paid 20 cents each.
This man pointed out that the people now lack the iron they used to make their axes even because the iron that was in Abudwak was destroyed by the two ethnic groups that moved to this city.
