King Burhan King Muse, one of the traditional names of Puntland, has called for an urgent meeting to discuss the future of Puntland.
King Burhaan said that he respects and appreciates the decision taken by the SSC-Khatumo brand, and said that their decision will not cause any harm to the existence of Puntland.
“I am calling for an urgent meeting of the Puntland community to discuss the future of Puntland. I call on the Puntland administration, candidates and other politicians to put aside their differences and unite to save Puntland.” King Burhan said.
He said the general situation in Puntland has changed which has come quickly, and it has come at a critical time when Puntland is going to elections.
It was yesterday when SSSC-Khatumo decided not to elect any MPs to Puntland, and they said that they have ruled over the unity and solidarity of the people of SSC-Khatumo.
The president of SSC-Khatumo, Firdhiye supported the decision of the SSC name, saying that it is a necessary decision.
