Somalia’s ambassador to Ethiopia, Abdullahi Mohamed Warfaa, presented the ODA AWARD medal to the Deputy Director of the National Culture and Entertainment Agency, Maki Haji Banadir, who is on a business trip to Ethiopia.
ODA AWARD is an award given to countries in the Horn of Africa and international organizations that have made significant progress in the fields of culture, art and literature.
In a large event that took place in Addis Ababa, it was officially announced that Somalia has officially won the ADO 2023 Award and has reached this level through the efforts of the government and the reconstruction of cultural institutions.
It was also noted that the Government of Somalia has entered an open medal-seeking competition and has completely won among the countries in the Horn of Africa.
Ambassador Warfaa, who works with the Office of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Somali Embassy in Ethiopia, was praised for his efforts to make Somalia appear in the international arena.
