Doha hosted a meeting between Her Excellency Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Musnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation of the State of Qatar, and Ali Mohamed Omar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, who is on an official visit to Qatar.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed in depth the brotherly and cooperative relations between the two countries, focusing on strengthening cooperation in the areas of development, economy, and technical support to Somalia.
The two ministers also recognized the importance of supporting development projects in Somalia in order to achieve sustainable stability and sustainable social progress.
They also underlined the commitment of the two governments to further strengthen bilateral relations, expanding cooperation opportunities based on the interests of the two peoples.
The Somali minister’s visit to Qatar is part of the ongoing efforts of the two countries to strengthen their diplomatic relations and strategic partnership.
