The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, today concluded the training of officers, deputy officers and units of the Somali National Army’s Gorgor force, who have received various training in Turkey and the TurkSom Military Training College in Mogadishu.
Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre first stated that the Federal Government of Somalia is working to build a national army that is equipped with good knowledge and leadership.
He also pointed out to Prime Minister Hamse that these forces will be part of the serious operations that the Somali government intends to eliminate the so-called terrorist groups that fight within the country.
“The Somali National Army is the backbone of a strong and self-sufficient government, so you must take responsibility for it, and be prepared to liberate our country from the enemy and restore the value, honor and unity of the Somali nation,” said Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.
The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia urged the highly trained soldiers to play a major role in the efforts of the Somali government and people to ensure overall security in the country.
Finally, Prime Minister Hamse thanked the Turkish government and people for their efforts and support for the Somali people and government.
