The government of Somalia, in a press release, stated again that it will not enter into dialogue with Ethiopia, until the maritime agreement with Somaliland is revoked.
The government of Somalia thanked the G7 countries, which expressed concern about the agreement that Ethiopia entered into with Somaliland, and called for the protection of independence and territorial integrity, as written in the United Nations Charter.
Somalia said it is committed to maintaining peace and security in the region, and wants to strengthen its cooperation with the G7 and other international partners to ensure lasting peace and prosperity in the Horn of Africa.
