Dozens of soldiers from the Somali National Army have gone to Kenya to participate in a military exercise in which many African countries will participate.
These troops from Danab Commando will be the first to participate in a military exercise abroad for the first time in more than 30 years.
The commander of the Somali National Army, General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyiddin, asked the Somali National Army soldiers who are participating in the exercise, to show their ability to stand out among the hundreds of soldiers who are participating in the exercise.
The commander of the country’s armed forces said that he hopes that these forces representing Somalia will bring peace to the Somali nation.
It is the largest parade in East Africa, which will last from February 26 to March 7.
This exercise, with the participation of 1000 soldiers from 23 countries, is led by the command of the United States Army in Southern Europe and Africa, and was hosted by Kenya.
The exercise is intended to build the readiness of the joint forces assigned to the United Nations and the African Union, to increase international cooperation in support of humanitarian aid, dealing with disasters and other problems.
