The damage caused by the explosion of a land mine that Puntland forces checked in Habley area of Bari region is increasing, while the death toll has reached 13 soldiers.
The explosion was carried out in a car belonging to Abdi Bilaha, which was carrying soldiers from the Puntland army, who were part of the battle group against the Daesh group in the Bari region.
The Daesh group was behind this attack, as confirmed by Puntland army officials, who were contacted by Hiraan Online media. Officials said that a landmine planted on the side of the road caused the explosion.
Some of the wounded soldiers died of their injuries, raising the death toll.
Injuries from the blast are said to be less than the death toll.
The Puntland administration refused to comment on this attack in which many soldiers died.
