The former director of Somalia’s National Security Agency, Fahad Yassin, has written a brief essay on his website, calling on the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh, to change his government’s policy against the President of Jubaland, Ahmed Madobe.
Fahad Yassin said in his writing, “I used to hear, let’s leave the two races alone! President Hassan Sheikh to fight with Ahmed Madobe and to reconcile with him is not capable, so let one of the two races be left.”
Fahad Yassin added in his writing that if some diseases cannot be treated, pills are taken to live with the pain.
The former director of NISA and the National Security Adviser to the former President of Somalia, Fahad Yassin, said that there are governments supporting Ahmed Madobe who are providing funds to the Government of President Hassan Sheikh.
“The harsh truth is, Madobe is supported by three governments today, and President Hassan Sheikh has personal financial interests in two of them. A needy person cannot be angry with the person he is helping,” said Fahad Yasin in his writing.
In the end, he concluded his writing that peace and conflict should soon be taken for peace, he said, “The government has already seen the situation and accepted to live with the pain. It is a shame to keep banging your head against the wall. ”
