The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and his delegation were warmly welcomed in the city of Djibouti in the Republic of Djibouti, after receiving an invitation from his counterpart, Ismail Omar Guelle.
The two Presidents are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in the fields of security, economy, and regional affairs.
The visit of Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to Djibouti will last one day, and while he is in Djibouti, he will also focus on meetings with the leaders of the country to discuss the mutual interests of the two brotherly republics.
The government of Djibouti is taking a big part in the ATMIS mission, which ends this month, and they played an active role in this mission that ended while they were in Hiran region.
