The High Court of Armed Forces has today handed down different sentences to two soldiers of the Federal Government of Somalia.
The court sentenced to death Dable Nisa Mahad Ali Abdi who is the murderer of Marmoun Abdirahman Osman Muse, while Dable Bol Adnaan Muse Mohamed was sentenced to six years in military prison.
The late Abdirahman Osman Muse died on the 27th of the sixth month of this year in a shootout between the two soldiers who were sentenced to shooting and imprisonment for six years, while he was working to resolve the dispute between Mahad and Adnaan.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office and the relatives of the late Abdirahman Osman Muse have already appealed against the verdict of the Court of First Instance, which was handed down to these two soldiers on the 28th of August.
Finally, the Chairman of the High Court of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Liban Ali Yarow, announced the sentence of these two men.
