Egypt has reportedly signed an agreement with China to sell J-10C fighter jets, with the aim of replacing its F-16 Fighting Falcons.

According to various reports, the Chengdu J-10C deal was signed on August 19, 2024. This acquisition will make Egypt the second country to have the J-10C, after Pakistan.

The move follows growing talk that Egypt is looking for a replacement to modernize its air force, as the country begins to phase out its old F-16 fighter jets.

The J-10C is a multi-role fighter jet equipped with modern air-to-air and ground-based equipment.

Its capabilities have been compared to the US F-16, which has special capabilities in air superiority operations.

Experts predict that China will make billions in profits from the sale of weapons & warplanes to Egypt.

However, Egypt is accused of wanting to create chaos and instability in the Horn of Africa. By using the bases of the Somali army, the graves are saying that it is possible to attack Ethiopia.

The deal came after Cairo rejected offers from the United States and Russia to upgrade or replace its planes.
