The Somali police have arrested a fugitive suspect named Ahmed Abdirahman Abdullahi.
According to the police, the suspect is believed to have killed Mohamed Hassan in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi.
A statement issued by the Somali police said that the suspect will be brought to justice.
The police said they had information about the accused who escaped from Kenya, which made it easier for them to arrest him.
It is not known whether the Somali government will return the accused to Kenya, where he escaped and committed the murder as alleged, or whether the government will try him in the country.
