Ahmed Macalin Hassan also spoke about the conditions in the airports in the country and said that most of them are gravel and sit in rain water, except for the airports in Mogadishu, Barbara, Hargeisa, Garowe, Kismayo and Baidoa. which are paved and planes can land at any time.

“There are many plans for the development of airports in the country, and we do not encourage the construction of an airport in every city, because it does not bring much success to build an airport in every region and district. I think that every administration should have one. It’s an international airport, and the district is connected by transport, not every girl can count today, I met that airport” said Manager Ahmed Macalin Hassan

The statement made by the General Manager of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority, Ahmed Macalin Hassan, comes at the same time as it is expected that the Somali Airlines will soon officially start operations.
