The manager of the Civil Aviation Authority said that the new airport will be built in El Jamaaq, and it is intended to ease the congestion and congestion at the Aden Adde airport in Mogadishu.

“The city of Muqdisho will have a new airport that will be available for the services needed by all types of aircraft that travel between the country and abroad. We have evaluated the land and it is a suitable land to implement the construction of the airport and we have concluded a survey that was going on. For 5 years we have been evaluating the atmosphere of the new stadium,” said Manager Ahmed Macalin Hassan.

He also pointed out to the manager that Aden Adde Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, where more than 200 domestic and international flights land and take off every day.
