A joint operation by the Somali National Army and international friends has been carried out in the areas of Jacar and Garabla in the Galgaduud region of Galmudug.
In this operation, two facilities were destroyed which were the storage of weapons and vehicles of the Al-Shabaab group, according to a statement issued by the NISA security agency.
NISA did not provide more information about the extent of the damage caused by the Al-Shabaab group.
The areas of Jajar and Garabla are areas under the control of the Al-Shabaab group, and they are under the Elbur district, which is the main seat of the Al-Shabaab.
Yesterday, NISA said that an operation was carried out in the Buq-Aqable area, killing six leaders of the Al-Shabaab group, who were extorting money from people.
Also, NISA said it has taken down 14 websites and WhatsApp accounts where al-Shabaab used to spread their propaganda.
