The international community has expressed concern over the threat of conflict and military mobilization in Garowe, the capital of Puntland.

In a press release from the international community, it was said that the presence of the army in the city is scaring the public, and this has led to the closure of schools and the displacement of people.

“There is no justification for violence or threats of force. Complaints should be resolved amicably and through dialogue. We call on all parties to resolve their differences peacefully.” was said in the news of the international community.

International friends have said that they are closely monitoring the situation, and called for an immediate de-escalation of the crisis, and for immediate talks between the political parties.

The news from the international community has arrived, as the representatives of the international community are expected to come to Garowe to hold talks with the opposition and President Deni.

However, the tensions in Garowe canceled their trip to Puntland.
