The Director of the Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), Abdullahi Mohamed Ali Sanbaloolshe, is holding meetings in Moqokori district of Hiran region to accelerate the ongoing operations in that region.
The NISA commander, who is in Moqokori for the fourth day, held a meeting with the traditional elders of Hiran region and demanded that the fight against Al-Shabaab that has been ongoing in recent days in areas of Hiran region be redoubled.
The Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) praised the traditional elders of Hiran region for their prominent role in the operations to eradicate Al-Shabaab from the country, and assured the elders that they will receive full support from the federal government.
The traditional elders of Hiran region, for their part, thanked the Director of the NISA for his role in organizing and supporting the Somali forces fighting Al-Shabaab.
These meetings, which are being held in Moqokori by the Commander of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), Abdullahi Mohamed Ali Sanbaloolshe, are coming, as for the past four days, fierce fighting has been taking place in several areas of the Hiran region between the Macawisley forces of the Hawadle clan and those of the Al-Shabaab militia.
