Some of the members of the two houses of the Somali Parliament elected from Jubaland have accused the Federal Government of Somalia, especially the Office of the President and the Prime Minister, of conspiracies and organizing on the long border between Somalia and Kenya.
In a joint statement issued today, these dignitaries revealed that they are closely following the plan that the Federal Government leaders and some of the armed forces officers and individuals who used to work in Jubaland are carrying out. are engaged in organizing and recruiting militia forces.
The MPs also declared that the Federal Government is providing funds and weapons to these militias and preparing them in the border area between the Somali Regional Government of Jubaland and Kenya, to create chaos and insecurity in Kenya. deploy militia forces that act as rebels, to carry out attacks in the peaceful areas along the borders of the two countries.
The MPs said that they have warned the Federal Government leaders to refrain from the plan, and to bring back the individuals they have already taken to the areas along the border.
Finally, the MPs issued a statement calling on the Jubaland State Government and the people of Jubaland to be aware of conspiracies that the federal government is organizing in Jubaland.
