The Somaliland Presidential Election candidates called on the public to vote peacefully and accept the election results.
The President of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, who cast his vote at the Center of the Labor Organization, called for the results to be accepted.
“As president, I say accept the results of the commission, then don’t talk to them. I am upset with the decision of the commission.
He said that he is not worried about being elected or not, but it is important for the election to end successfully and peacefully, and for Somaliland to win.
Candidate Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro, who also voted at the venue, called on the community to vote for the change, saying that this election is a rare opportunity for the people of Somaliland.
Candidate Faisal Ali Warabe said that this election is proof of Somaliland’s independence, calling for the results to be accepted.
