Members of the two Houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia who were elected from the Puntland State Government said that after consulting with the community and the Puntland Government’s various councils, they agreed that the Committee of the two Houses of the Somali Parliament has established a committee that is not in accordance with the country’s constitution and issued a report containing several points in which they discussed these issues while accusing the federal government.
They declared in their statements that they are not part of a process they described as a kidnapping that is intended to illegally apply to the federal legislative councils the laws of the election committee, parties and elections, which have ended the constitution agreed by the Somali people on August 1 , 2012.
It was said that the two Houses have passed the Committee, the MP Abdirahman Abdishakur has strongly criticized the way the two houses of the Chairmen trample on the Constitution of the country and the Bylaws of the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
They also sent a serious warning to the Federal Government of Somalia to stop politicizing the country’s projects and warned that they are using it to attack the people living in the member states of the Federal Government that have taken decisions that are against the law and the constitution. the country.
The MPs said that the government is interfering in the internal politics of Jubaland and Puntland and warned the government to continue such actions.
