The SSC-Khaatumo House of Representatives called on the Federal Government of Somalia to amend the constitution to be inclusive, involving the Federal Government and all member states.
A press release from the SSC-Khaatumo Parliament said that there is a need for Puntland, Jubbaland, and other relevant regions to be part of the constitutional amendment to promote unity and political stability in the country.
The SSC-Khatumo Parliamentary Assembly also reminded the federal government of Somalia and stakeholders of the importance of recognizing the rights of SSC-Khatumo to assistance, development, and political representation.
They urged the leaders of the Federal Government and the member states to put aside the conflicting agendas and prioritize the national interest of Somalia through dialogue and cooperation.
The news from the SSC Khatumo Parliament has arrived, as a meeting was held in Lasanood city to discuss the role of the SSC-Khatumo Parliament on how the SSC community should participate in the constitutional issues.
