Iran has reportedly launched attacks on US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait, after the US carried out a second day of strikes on Iran’s southern coast.

Iran said it had carried out retaliatory strikes on US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait, in response to new US strikes inside Iran.

Meanwhile, the US launched strikes on the Qeshm Peninsula and the cities of Sirik and Bandar-e Lengeh for a second day in a row, following an Iranian drone attack on a merchant ship in the Strait of Hormuz.

US President Donald Trump has accused Iran of violating a nuclear deal between the two countries, warning Tehran that if it continues the attacks, the US will “engage in an all-out war.”

Meanwhile, Israel carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon, killing at least one person, a day after a preliminary agreement was signed with the Lebanese government to end the conflict.
