Arsenal have officially won the Premier League for the first time in 22 years, after drawing 1-1 with .
The victory ended a long wait for Arsenal fans since the 2003/2004 season, when the team went unbeaten in the league.
The Spaniard’s team had been leading the league for most of the season, although their hopes were dashed in April after a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.
However, Arsenal regrouped and eventually prevented his side from winning the title again.
The victory also ended Arsenal’s six-year trophy drought, with the title becoming Arteta’s second major trophy as manager since arriving at the club’s home ground, with one final remaining, the final against French side PSG.
The trophy-lifting celebrations are set to take place at the stadium on Sunday, with Arsenal fans preparing for a huge party to mark the historic victory.
