The President of Puntland administration, Said Abdullahi Deni, has issued an order to stop illegal foreigners from entering Puntland areas.
President Deni has instructed all the agencies of his administration that are concerned with this order to operate in order to implement this decision to ban foreigners who are illegally flowing into Puntland areas.
Deni said that soon a special law will be issued to govern the immigration system of foreigners entering Puntland areas.
However, there is still an influx of foreign immigrants from Ethiopia, who are entering Puntland cities on foot.
The previous order issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Puntland to ban immigrants has not been implemented, while it is worth noting that many foreigners who have entered Puntland have been seen in the cities.
