The Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia has discussed the general situation in the country, especially the heavy operations against Daesh in the mountains of Calmikaad in the Bari region.
Somalia’s Cabinet of Ministers has first praised the achievements of the Puntland administration’s Deravid forces in the fight against Daesh in which the Daesh group was defeated in the Calmisakad mountains in the Bari region.
“The council has decided that the government agencies should each take their effective role in supporting the forces and the people of Puntland in the war against the enemy,” said a statement issued by the Council of Ministers.
On the other hand, the chairman of the People’s Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe, congratulated the Puntland army for its achievements in the heavy battles with Daesh.
“I congratulate the heroes of Puntland and our National Army in general who killed the foreigners who emigrated from their country to cause problems in Somalia, who committed various crimes in their countries. We saw the bodies of foreigners killed in the war. It is a great victory and I praise the heroes of the Puntland army,” said the chairman of the People’s Assembly, Sheikh Adan Madobe.
However, the Puntland forces have been conducting operations against Daesh in the last few days in the Aalmisakad mountains in the Bari region, where they have killed foreign members of Daesh.
