The authorities of Puntland and Galmudug have started meetings to find a lasting solution to the conflict between two communities from both sides, who fought in areas in the west of Mudug.
These wars have caused loss of life and property, as the two administrations have not been able to reach a final solution to the conflict.
Officials from the two administrations said that a series of meetings will be held in Galkayo to focus on how to end the conflict and how to reconcile the clans.
Both sides agreed that they are sorry for the suffering caused by the conflict, and underlined the importance of efforts for reconciliation and peace in the areas affected by the conflict.
However, peace is not fully established in the areas where the fighting took place under the village of Jiboor under Galgadob district.
