The governor of the Middle Shabelle region, Mohamud Mohamed Noor, has revealed that the government forces and Hirshabelle, working together, have captured some of the militants who recently killed the soldiers in El Baraf.
Governor Mohamud Mohamed Noor, who spoke to the National Media, said that two of the militiamen who committed mass murder against the soldiers of the country’s armed forces have been arrested.
“We have arrested two of the people who killed the national soldiers who were attacked in a place where they were gathering, and we are following the rest. They will be arrested and brought before the law,” said the Governor of Middle Shabelle, Mohamud Mohamed Noor.
He also mentioned to the governor that the governor of El Baraf area and traditional elders were arrested yesterday for failing to fulfill their duties.
The governor of the Middle Shabelle also called on the Somali people and the community where the soldiers who were killed in El Baraf are from to be aware of the efforts of the federal government and the Hirshabelle administration.
“Efforts are going on by the government and Hirshabelle to deal with the horrible incident. The Somali people and the community of the soldiers who were killed are proving that this act is bad and we are all saddened by the way it happened. Let the law be brought before the criminals and now some of them. under control,” said Governor Mohamud Mohamed.
