The Banadir regional court recently issued a warrant for the arrest of Ahmed Mohamed Islam, Ahmed Madobe who was re-elected as the president of Jubbaland administration on the 25th of this month, after an election in Kismayo.
A statement issued by the Banadir Regional Court instructed the Somali Police Commander General Asad Abdullahi Osman to arrest Ahmed Madobe and bring him before the Banadir Regional Court immediately.
The Banadir regional court said in its writing that this order was issued at the request of the Office of the Attorney General, who accused Ahmed Madobe of committing major crimes including treason and acts against the unity of the Somali nation.
It is not known how he will enforce the order issued by the Banadir regional court regarding the arrest of Ahmed Madobe who was elected for the third time as the president of Jubbaland for the next five years.
