The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, today appointed the second Deputy Prime Minister of his Government.
In a circular from the office of Prime Minister Hamse, Abdisalan Abdi Ali, who was the Minister of Public Works of the Federal Government of Somalia, was appointed as the second Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Somalia.
The Minister of Public Works, who was vacated by Abdisalan Abdi Ali, was appointed by Ili Mohamud Nur, who previously served as the Somali Finance Minister.
The government of Hamse Abdi Barre became the first government to have a second deputy prime minister since the interim government.
The decree issued by Prime Minister Hamse also appointed new Ministers and Ministers of State such as:-
1-Minister of Labor and Social Affairs.
Yusuf Mohamed Adan.
2-Minister of Maritime Transport and Ports.
Mohamud Ahmed Adan.
3- Minister of State for Justice and the Constitution.
Ilyas Sheikh Omar Abubakar.
4-Minister of State for Petroleum and Minerals.
Ismail Shire Jama.
5- Minister of Family and Human Rights.
Mohamed Osman Omar.
6- Minister of State for Labor and Social Affairs.
Eynaanshe Yusuf Hussein.
7-Minister of State for Fisheries and Blue Economy.
Mohamed Yusuf Hassan.
8- Minister of State of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Mohamed Nur Abubakar.
