The former Minister of Finance of Somalia, Abdirahman Duale Bayle, has announced that he has officially joined the Somaliland opposition party, Wadani.
Bayle, who recently withdrew from his vision of ‘Great Somalia’, returned to Somaliland after many years as a minister in the Somali government and other politicians from Awdal announced that they have joined the Waddani party.
“We have decided to join this party, work with them, and we urge other Somaliland people to accept this and vote for this party, and we are committed to the only person that can save this country that is Irro” said Bayle.
Minister Bayle and other men who accompanied him said that they saw the future of Somaliland in the Waddani party, saying that the party is ready to deal with the concerns of the people of Awdal.
They said that Somaliland is a rising sun, which can be fought for, and it is necessary that the right person be given its advice every day.
The Waddani party has attracted the support of many Somaliland politicians in recent months. This party, which is the largest opposition party in Somaliland, is struggling to win the presidency of Somaliland.
