The Puntland regional government has accused the Federal Government of Somalia of spending money to create unrest in its regions, especially in the Sanaag region.
The Vice President of Puntland, Ilyas Lugatoor said that they know that the federal government has given money to individuals to create chaos in the Sanaag region, saying that the security agencies have authorized them to take action against anyone who is working in chaos.
“You saw a crazy man who was praying for Badhan and Sanaag from time to time. We are instructing everyone who works in security not to contact the authorities and action will be taken,” said Lugator.
Vice President Punland said the Federal Government wants to create chaos in all the states, saying that the aim is for the Federal Government to intervene in their internal affairs.
He suggested the regional governments to be vigilant and insist on the implementation of the agreed constitution.
