Minister of Information of Puntland state, Eng. Mohamud Aydid Dirir said that President Hassan Sheikh was blocked from the walls he wanted for an extension, after the failure of the meeting of the Consultative Council.

The minister said that Puntland is concerned that President Hassan Sheikh is not ready to prepare the country for elections in 2026, and he said that the political ambitions of President Hassan Sheikh could lead the country to an unprecedented political crisis.
He said that the role of the prime minister is missing, saying that the prime minister is working according to the wishes of President Hassan Sheikh.
