The Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has announced that there is no change in daily flights to Baidoa.
In a brief statement from the organization, it was said that the flights are running regularly, although they did not state the reason for the hour-long interruption of the flights to Baidoa.
The statement of the Aviation Authority came after members of the Somali Parliament from the South West spoke strongly about the situation at the airport in Mogadishu, where they said that many people going to Baidoa city were blocked for hours.
Reports we have received from reliable sources say that the government has suspended flights to Baidoa, in order to exclude from the flights MPs heading to Baidoa who are organizing political activities against the Federal Government of Somalia.
