The weekly meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia was discussed today Thursday on issues such as the general situation in the country, an agreement reached between the governments of Somalia and China and also the appointment of a new official.
The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government, Salah Ahmed Jama, and the agreement on economic cooperation and development reached by the governments of Somalia and China was approved.
Today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers also approved a proposal from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Reconciliation, which was the appointment of the Deputy Director of the Public Identification and Registration Agency, named Abdirahman Syed Ahmed.
The weekly meeting of the Somali Council of Ministers was also presented with various reports related to security, the process of issuing driving licenses and the implementation of sales tax, which were recently issued by the Council of Ministers in a resolution to be implemented.
Finally, the Minister of Defense and Security of the Federal Government heard reports related to the general security of the country and the war against the Al-Shabaab group at the meeting of the Council of Ministers.
