The Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamsa Abdi Barre, said that strict measures have been taken to hold accountable the officers who worked in the attacked areas, and some of them are locked up.

The prime minister made this statement after he visited Erdogan’s hospital last night some of the civilians who were injured in the Al-Shabaab attack on Lido Beach.

The Prime Minister said that when al-Shabaab was defeated in the battlefields, they targeted young people who were celebrating peacefully in their country.

Hamse expressed his condolences to the relatives and friends of those who died in the attack, praying that God will shower them with mercy from Heaven and heal the wounded.

The Prime Minister called on the Somali people in general to strengthen their support to the military and security agencies, in order to eliminate Al-Shabaab.

During his visit, the Prime Minister praised the security forces for their role in rescuing and helping the victims.
