He pointed out to the National Treasury that approximately 21 million US dollars were missing from these offices and were not deposited into the government coffers between March 8, 2018, and April 19 of last year, 2023.

“The amount of income collected by the work permit offices and foreign workers of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the extension service for foreigners in the country of the immigration agency between March 8, 2018 and April 19, 2023, was a total of $33,370,260. , but only $12,437,690 was deposited into the government coffers, from the total revenue that these offices received between March 8, 2018, and April 19, 2023, for a period of 5 years and more, they submitted to the government, through the SFMIS system. said the Auditor General of Gutale National.
