Somalia’s Cabinet of Ministers approved a Resolution on National Security Threats, prepared by the Somalia National Security Office.

The government said in this resolution that it is shielded from threats that could threaten the existence, governance, unity of the country and the unity of the Somali people.

The office of the Prime Minister of Somalia said that this resolution reflects the new vision of the Somali government based on National Security.

This resolution, which contains 8 points that are not detailed, the government council held its weekly meeting and welcomed this resolution by approving it.

The issuance of this resolution came at a time when Somalia is working hard to remove an agreement that threatens the independence of Somalia, which Ethiopia wants to take part of Somalia’s waters.

Ethiopia said last night that it has not withdrawn from the maritime agreement with Somaliland, after fake news was spread on social media that the Ethiopian government has canceled the agreement.

Here are the provisions of the security resolution.

1. Terrorism.

2. The Theory of Isolation.

3. Vulnerable government.

4. The boundaries of the Belah.

5. Foreign Intervention.

6. Climate Change.

7. Risk of Technology.

8. Social Risks.
