The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has congratulated the Somali people on the occasion of Eid al-Araf.
President Hassan Sheikh has instructed the Somali people who have been blessed by God to stand by their other poor brothers and sisters who are unable to participate in the joyous Eid al-Adha celebration.
He also said in his congratulatory message to the president that the problems in the country can be overcome by unity and to avoid everything that can lead to problems.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud also sent special congratulations to all the armed forces of Somalia and said that they are sacrificing their lives for the defense of the country and the Somali people.
Finally, in his message, the president gave an important opportunity to the members of the Al-Shabaab group, saying that the doors are open for them to hand themselves over to the Somali government.
