The security forces and the Somali National Intelligence Service (NISA) have arrested two Al-Shabaab members who wanted to carry out acts against security in Mogadishu.

A brief news from the NISA said that the two men were arrested by the army with bombs in their hands and they wanted to harm the people of Mogadishu.

“The security forces of the government are standing every hour to ensure the security of the city with the full cooperation of the Somali citizens. At the time when the two conspirators were being arrested by the army, they were carrying explosives in their hands with the intention of harming the public,” said the news from NISA.

The statement issued by NISA did not detail where the operation took place in which the two members of the Al-Shabaab militia who carried the bombs took place.

Mogadishu is sometimes bombed and shot by the Al-Shabaab group, the security situation in Mogadishu has been improving recently after the army increased operations against the Al-Shabaab group.
