Somalia’s Minister of Defense Abdulqadir Mohamed Noor and the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia Fei Shengchao agreed that the two countries will enhance defense cooperation.
A meeting they held in Mogadishu focused on security and counter-terrorism.
As announced by the Ministry of Defense of Somalia, the meeting was focused on how to further strengthen defense relations and how to cooperate in the fight against terrorism.
Somalia’s Defense Minister thanked China for its continuous support and pointed out the importance of strategic cooperation in achieving Somalia’s security goals.
Ambassador Fei confirmed China’s support for Somalia, stressing the long-standing relationship between the two countries.
