An attack carried out by the United States in areas under the Afgoye district, which is about 30-KM to the northwest of Mogadishu, has caused the death of at least 21 civilians, according to the relatives of the victims.

This attack happened last night while these people were in their fields in the Baghdad area.

The people who were targeted in this attack were people from the same family who had nothing to do with the Al-Shabaab group, according to their relatives.

The Somali government said in a statement that the attack killed at least 30 Al-Shabaab fighters, who it said had gathered at the target area.

Eyewitnesses and relatives of the victims who spoke to the local media today said that the targeted people included at least 40 people, who said that some of them died in the bombing, while others were injured.

They said the first time and the second time these people were rescued they were bombed again.

The relatives of these people demanded justice from the government of Somalia and the government of the United States, saying that their people were subjected to genocide. They said they were targeted to be displaced from their land.

Until now, the government of Somalia has not given any response to the complaints of these people who are complaining that their people were killed by the bombing by the United States last night in the Lower Shabelle region.
