More news is coming out of a planned operation that the local re-election forces have carried out today in areas on the outskirts of Harardhere district in Mudug region.
The operation which was against Al-Shabaab group was carried out by the army in the area called Galcad Jiimo and other nearby areas.
An officer of the local re-election force told the media that today’s operation was successful and they removed the Al-Shabaab group from some areas under Harardhere.
The officer also said that such operations will continue until Al-Shabaab is removed from the entire area in Mudug region.
This operation by the local re-election forces in the areas under Harardhere is coming soon, as the Federal Government of Somalia recently withdrew from important areas in the South of Mudug region.
