The leader of SSC, Khatumo Abdiqadir Aw Ali Firdhiye, said that the criminal case was brought by the President of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, and other protests.
Firdhiye said that they worked to put Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi, former Defense Minister Abdiqani Mohamud Aateeye, Somaliland Military Commander Nuh Ismail Tani, Commander Mahad Cambaashe and 6 other officers on trial.
“We have worked to mark the criminals, and those who have been killed to mark the criminals and take them forward. SSC lawyers have been working to carry out this task,” Firdhiye said.
He said that they have collected evidence of celebrations, and he said that on February 11, 2024 he ordered the international vaccination against war crimes.
Individuals named by Firdhiye as having committed war crimes in the city of Lasanood during the war between the Somaliland military and the SSC Khatumo forces.
