The leader of the administration of SSC-Khatumo, Abdiqadir Ahmed Aw-Ali Firdhiye has warned the Ethiopian government to interfere in the internal affairs of his administration.
Leader Firdhiye, who was speaking to thousands of people today in a public square in Lasanood city, said that there are reports that Ethiopian troops are being brought to the SSC areas because of his administration.
“We can’t accept it, we don’t accept it. We are responsible for our people and our country. We don’t accept that other forces are being attacked or interfered with, and we are fighting against it,” said the leader of SSC-Khatumo, Firdhiye.
Firdhiye called on the federal government of Somalia to clarify its position as a Somali. He said that they are required to participate in defending the country from all those who are a threat to the unity of the country.
The SSC leader ordered his troops to be on full alert and ready for any invasion from Somaliland.
