The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdirahman Yusuf Aladala, has given more details about the fourth consecutive day of operations in areas of the Lower Jubba region.
Minister Al-Cadaala said that the joint operations of the Somali forces and the Dervishes of the Jubbaland administration in Lower Jubba have caused heavy losses to the Al-Shabaab group.
“The strength of the country and the heroes of Jubaland are chasing the Khawarij for the fourth day in a row, more than 50 have been killed, 20 others have been captured, and many lands have been cleared, thank God,” said Somalia’s deputy minister of information, Abdirahman. Alcadala.
The operations carried out by the allied forces in the areas of Lower Jubba region have removed the Al-Shabaab group from several areas and villages that were previously under the control of the group.
Officials of the Federal Government said that these operations will continue until Al-Shabaab is removed from the areas where they are located in the Jubbaland administration, and these operations will be the strongest to be carried out in Jubbaland.
